Summary
In the research described in this paper, we developed an experience-based safety education support system that can assess the risk easily on construction sites. This system can place an information tag concerning some dangerous spots where labour accidents such as falling and colliding may easily occur in the real construction sites. This can be achieved through the use of tablet type PCs or the smart phone. The accumulated information such as dangerous spots can be displayed at the construction site through the tablet type PC or the smart phone. When an information tag is indicated the display may be touched, so that more detailed information about the dangerous spot is displayed and a risk assessment can be completed on site. Also, the PC or phone is able to share the risk information with all workers in the construction site. Moreover, various risk information accumulated by using this system can be confirmed on the plan of the construction site, and this information can be also shared and utilized for the safety education on the construction site.
