Summary
Fully coupled thermo-mechanical analysis of civil engineering problems is studied in this paper. The mechanical analysis is based on damage mechanics which is useful for the modeling of the behaviour of quasi-brittle materials, especially in tension. The damage is assumed to be isotropic. The heat transfer is assumed in the form of heat conduction governed by the Fourier law and heat radiation governed by the Stefan-Boltzmann law. A fully coupled thermo-mechanical problem is formulated.
