Abstract

The paper describes a CAD package RC SLABS for the interactive design of Reinforced Concrete Slabs. The package is user friendly and accepts input through a dialogue session or from a file. The design follows the Limit State Design procedure. Option is built into the program for redesign. If the Engineer/user is satisfied with the design he can get the complete reinforcement details displayed with the graphics terminal. Option is also available to get the details drafted on Calcomp 1039 and 1075 plotters. The package thus offers an integrated solution to the design of RC slabs.
