Abstract
We present the principles of a parallel approach suited to the simulation of a large class of non-linear problems. It is based on the use of two domain decompositions which goal is to balance the loads of calculation over the various processors by limiting the task redistributions. The implementation of this algorithm is carried out starting from an extension of the possibilities of the user language of the code CASTEM 2000. GIBIANE is a full featured language which allows the user to distribute tasks on a parallel machine, knowing that the system ensures the coherence of data during the sequence of tasks in limiting waiting phases of applications. The propounded system, that takes into accounts the capabilities of the various computers types, allows two levels of parallelization: the user level and the programming level only used for fine performance tuning. Numerical examples are presented to validate the proposed parallel approach.
