Abstract
Recent arrival of perfomance based design codes carry away the use of practical non-linear analysis. Advances in Computer Technology applied to them are summarised in this research presentation. The use of new systems of cluster of PC's with parallel computing allow the structural engineers change the way to solve the analysis of RC structures for building. The encapsulation on the new language programming (OOP) and the improvement in the network communications systems may possible to program the resolution of the non-linear analysis system with a higher level of complexity using high performance computing.
