Abstract
Knowledge-based systems have been developed rapidly to address a broad range of tasks in the engineering design domain, however the knowledge representation is the bottleneck of building such systems, especially the representation of complex engineering designs. This paper presents the Multiple Regression Models (MRM) for the knowledge representation using object-oriented programming. The systematic concept of MRM and a brief outline of knowledge representation based on object-oriented are provided.
