Abstract
We present in this paper a modification of the Subspace algorithm presented by Moonen et al. such that the identified matrices are directly in the delta formulation. We show that the identified system converges to the continuous-time model as the sampling interval tends to zero. This algorithm is tested and compared to the original algorithm using the Mini-Mast test structure treated by Juang. The study shows that the proposed algorithm identifies well the continuous-time model with a performance comparable to the original one.
