Abstract
This work addresses the inverse reconstruction of a CA-220 twin contact wire catenary geometry from the measured contact force data. It analyses the impact of installation errors and proposes a Bayesian optimization framework to estimate geometric parameters. Five algorithms are proposed and the convergence is assessed using synthetically generated data with a known solution. Results show that dropper lengths can be accurately identified, while other variables have limited influence.
