Summary
In this paper, different optimization methods are proposed which are the combination of different surrogate models and algorithms. The simplified CRH380A high speed train with three carriages is chosen as the model, and the optimization objectives include the aerodynamic drag of the whole train and the aerodynamic lift of the trailing car. Through comparing differences of the aerodynamic drag and lift between the optimized high speed train and the prototype train, the advantages and disadvantages of different optimization methods are assessed, and the simple, efficient, convenient and accurate optimization method is determined.
