Summary
As a carrier of the train, the track affects the safety and the stability of the moving train directly. The relationship between the vehicle response and the irregularity of track is analyzed in this paper. Since the wide variety of track defects, the short wave irregularity of track is the main discussion in the paper. The acceleration of the vehicle car-body cannot distinguish the similar shortwave irregularity; however, the vehicle car-body acceleration can be decomposed using DB5 wavelet. And the similar shortwave irregularity can be distinguished marginally.
