Summary
Operation of construction equipment causes ground vibrations which spread through the ground and diminish in strength with distance. Construction vibrations should be reduced by planned and controlled use of construction machinery. This paper reports on a study of the effect of the construction vibration in the Bratislava Airport buildings caused by sheet piles driving near the operated airport building and site of the new terminal building.
