Abstract
In this paper, an information transfer technique of structural analysis in strength of materials is developed in computer aided instruction. A new method of primitives assembling is described as an approach to transfer data of a loaded bar to calculate strength and rigidity. A software system CAISM is written. Finally, after analysing two problems, some diagrams, such as shearing force and bending moment diagram and deflection diagram, are shown graphically.
