Abstract
Statically tests are obligatory for all bridging constructions of which the distance is greater than regulated in local standards (In Slovenia regulated distance is 15 meters). Till now these test have been done by the inductive displacement transducers and by the classical geodetic instrument NIKON - DTM 720. which have installed specially software AP-700 for determined the vertical movements. Now, the statically measurements can be performed by the laser level NIKON AL-50 and sensors NIKON - Electronics Positioning Staff (EPS) 02A.

Measurement results showed that instruments have high accuracy and that measurements can be done faster. Laser sensors are connected to personal computer with communication cable. Sensors are controlled on personal computer with program named "Laser".
