Abstract
An algorithm to analyze the flows along the arcs in the exploitation of a multi-terminal network to distribute known amounts of homogeneous product (sing1e-commodity) is described, and a discussion about how could it be also applied to the case of heterogeneous products (multiple-commodities) is included. Usually it is an undetermined problem, so that the algorithm tries to minimize the sum of flows along all arcs. The algorithm is easy to implement, due both to its simple organization and to the scheme proposed to store the information it uses. In fact, a version written in QBASIC, using structured programming techniques, was used to test its performance in the examples included.
