Abstract
This work is concerned with the creation of an interactive system for truss topology optimization based on the ground structure approach, as well as an extension of a truss topology optimizer, taking local stability into account, to include multiple load cases. In 2D, ground structures are generated automatically based on restriction to a possibly non-convex design area.
