Abstract
Some experiences gained by the authors in the process of FEM teaching at Warsaw University of Technology are presented. Future trends in FEM education are discussed in the context of new computational structures technology. The authors suggestion is to separate an "invariant" part of the FEM educational process which does not depend on CST.
