Abstract
We present a new means of visualisation and analysis of static schedules in multiprocessor environments, the Graphical Schedule Editor (GSEdit). GSEdit allows the user to display, manipulated and analyse the schedule used to implement a multiprocessor DSP design. Measurements such as speed-up and inter processor communication costs can be automatically calculated for one or a group of designs, and then displayed and analysed in graphical forms.

The context in which GSEdit operated and its distinct features and user interface are briefly described.
