Summary
Planning the maintenance interventions on a railway has always been a challenge. The need for better maintenance plans and more accurate analyzes for the future has encouraged a series of studies. These studies have resulted in a complete system that analyzes maintenance needs, material distribution and converges to an optimized and detailed maintenance plan, determining what each team will do daily. The goal is to eliminate the subjectivity present when a job is accomplished by employees with different methodologies, and to include a single and consolidated process centralized in a software environment, which gives the best solution in a faster and safer way.
