Summary
This paper shows several methods of a wheel rail contact force measurement with a main focus on a new system for an instrumented wheelset. The new system enables to measure all three force components: vertical, lateral and longitudinal. Special attention is paid to a process of calibration which is important for the instrumented wheelset measurement accuracy.
