Summary
This paper present results of a study concerning the identification of the parameters of railway vehicle-track system, which have an influence on the non-linear properties (behaviour) of railway vehicles in a transition curve at velocities near the critical one. The following two objects were studied individually: two-axle 25TN bogie of a freight car and a two-axle bogie of a MK111 passenger car. The study consists of numerical tests which are completed with the software built specifically for two-axle objects and the non-commercial software for automatic generation of the equation of motion for four-axle objects. Finally, the two-axle HSFV1 freight car, two-axle freight car with average parameters and a four-axle passenger car MK111 will also be studied.
